Event Description
We’re thrilled to welcome author Jordy Rosenberg, our Muse 2020 Fellow in Fiction, to discuss his hilarious and fascinating novel, Confessions of the Fox. This conversation will be as much about the process of writing and publishing Confessions of the Fox as about the content of the book itself. That said we, urge you to read Confessions of the Fox, which imagines the real-life, infamous thief Jack Sheppard as a transgender hero, and follows their escapades in gender-fluid, 18th century London. Praised for its "vulpine versatility" and a "comedy spliced with period erotica," it's like nothing we've ever read. Hosting the conversation is the brilliant Andrea Lawlor, author of the amazing novel, Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl.
Join Rosenberg and Lawlor for an intimate discussion about Confessions of the Fox, the writing and publishing process, and more.
This event is FREE & open to the public. Pre-reading the novel is recommended, but not required.
