Class Description
Revision is a vital part of writing strong prose, yet the progression of rough draft to polished piece can often feel mysterious. And it’s challenging for writers at every level to overcome the reluctance to edit one’s writing. Drafting a stronger manuscript, diving into the work of cutting and rewriting, requires a variety of approaches in order to expand our understanding of how stories develop, deepen, and change. In this session, writers of all genres will learn to embrace editing by experimenting with a variety of revision techniques. You'll learn tricks for getting unstuck and tackling revision with effective tools aimed at crafting a more complex and meaningful narrative.

Zoom Accessibility:
You can enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to access the transcript after class, please make sure to let your instructor ahead of time that you'd like a copy.
