Debbie Hagan is book reviews editor for Brevity literary magazine. She is the former editor-in-chief of Art New England and managing editor of New England Home. She has taught creative writing at New Hampshire Institute of Art and other schools. A writer for more than thirty years, Hagan has written for Boston Globe Magazine, American Style, Robb Report, Brain, Child and many other publications. Holding an MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College, Hagan wrote the literary journalism book Against the Tide (Hamilton Books, 2004). She has assisted dozens of writers in editing and shaping their books and manuscripts.
