Class Description
Are your characters living up to their potential? Are you under-describing or over-describing? Are you relying too much on physical description, and are your descriptions too “on the nose?" In this dynamic class, we'll use passages from classic and contemporary fiction to discuss ways to create unforgettable characters that add depth, heft, and texture to a novel. We’ll consider different ways to introduce characters in a story, and we’ll discuss a range of techniques for creating more memorable ones.
Class Format
