Class Description
Do you want to try your hand at creative writing? Have you written creatively before but need a boost to get back into it? Come join GrubStreet in celebrating independent bookstore, The Book Rack, for their 40th anniversary, and participate in this fun and free workshop!
In this class you will have one mission: to devote one hour of your day to creative writing. Through a series of directed exercises, we will explore the terrain of fiction or nonfiction: mining for material, constructing characters and settings, shaping vivid dialogue, or understanding point of view. Most importantly, you'll take steps towards finding your voice.
You’ll meet fellow writers and get your creative juices flowing with some cool writing exercises. Best of all, you’ll leave with some new ideas to ponder for the rest of your day and beyond. No need to RSVP--just come!
*Note: This free seminar will take place at The Book Rack, 13 Medford Street, Arlington, MA 02474. No registration is necessary--just show up ready to write!
