Class Description
Are you in the morass of meandering, researching, and sketching your novel, but not able to get a firm hold? For those who are beginning a novel (or have begun many a book, but never finished), this two-part seminar will provide a working outline for building the framework for your novel, using the “how do you eat an elephant” approach: one bite at a time.
Part One will concentrate on the underlying mechanics of building a novel and understanding components, from the dialog, to stage business, to story vs plot, and everything in-between.
In Part Two, participants will work, step-by-step, to build a bible and outline for their novel.
Participants should be ready to join the Zoom with their story idea(s), index cards, pens, and a pencil (with an eraser!). By the end of day two, day, participants will walk away with a skeleton on which to build their novel.
