Class Description
Could you use some fast feedback on your fiction, essay, memoir or poetry in progress? Bring up to two (2) pages of writing to share. You may read aloud from your work or, if you arrive 10-15 minutes before workshop, we can make copies to distribute to the class. We’ll start with a primer on how to be a good literary citizen and offer concise, useful critique, a quick exercise to build trust within the group, and then we’re off! Refreshments provided. Activities available if you you need to bring your kids.

Thanks to the excellent literary citizenship of our donors, scholarships are available for all GrubStreet classes. To apply, click the gray "APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP" button. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your application at least one week before the start date of a class. Please await our scholarship committee's decision before registering for the class. We cannot hold spots in classes, so the sooner you apply, the better. Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively.
