PSB Comedy Night: Solo Show ft. Emily Goldstein: Comedy, Trauma, More

Event Description

PSB Boston Edition is excited to host a weekend of solo comedy shows! Get ready to laugh until your sides hurt as talented comedians take the stage to help you forget about your troubles by telling you about theirs. Come on down and enjoy some good company, great laughs, and maybe even a book. Don't miss out on getting a real 'peek behind the curtain' at these comedians' life journeys!

Please note these shows are taking place at PSB: Boston Edition (50 Liberty Drive, Boston, MA 02210). There are 3 different shows over the course of the weekend. See below for details about this Sunday, April 13 show at 3:00pm featuring Emily Goldstein.

Tickets are available online here, in advance, for $10. Tickets will be available at the door for $15 via cash or Venmo.

Doors open at 2:30pm. Show starts at 3:00pm.

Carolyn Castiglia is a long-time stand-up, coach, and creator of Chuck, her award-winning off-Broadway solo show in which she "solves the lingering mysteries surrounding her family’s trauma after a decade of therapy and two puffs of weed."

'MOOISH'

Emily Goldstein is a versatile comedian, clown, and producer based in Boston. Since starting her standup comedy journey in July 2022, Emily has founded MOOISH Productions to uplift marginalized voices. She hosts a monthly standup show, Laughing Through the Pain. In October 2022, Emily was a Chosen Performer in Season 13 of #Kenanpresents at Laugh Boston. She performed at The PIT Solocom Festival in New York and the ‘Can You Relate?’ Festival in Boston in 2023. Nominated for ‘Funniest Comic of Boston’ in May 2023, Emily also participated in the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, assisting with a friend's solo show and performing standup herself. Her solo show, 'MOOISH,' is a testament to therapy, friendships, and Prozac!

Format/Location

This class will take place in-person at our Center for Creative Writing in Boston's Seaport neighborhood.
