Class Description
Do you understand the angst of a dropped plate of mac and cheese in the middle school cafeteria? A spell gone wrong in AP Hexing? A doomed romance in a climate-change wasteland? If you live and breathe in the MG/YA universe, and need to commit some time each week to your work-in-progress, then this is the group for you.
In each session, you'll devote uninterrupted writing time to your MG or YA novel—no “the dog ate my homework” excuses! Then, you’re off to study hall (well, breakout rooms) with your fellow writers to share your work—troublesome pages, query letters, synopses, etc.—giving and receiving on-the-spot feedback. We’ll also chat about books, the writing process, the MG/YA industry, etc. Come spend dedicated time with your work-in-progress and connect with other writers in our genre.
Please Note: This class does not meet on July 4th (Independance Day).
