About Tina

Tina Tocco is a Pushcart Prize nominee for fiction. Her work has appeared in publications for both adults and children, including New Ohio Review, River Styx, Potomac Review, Portland Review, Italian Americana, Highlights for Children, and Cricket. Tina has contributed to multiple anthologies, such as The Best Small Fictions 2019 (Sonder Press, 2019) and Best Nonfiction Food (Woodhall Press, 2020), and is the author of the children’s poetry collection The Hungry Snowman and Other Poems (Kelsay Books, 2019). Her short story "The Unknown Soldier" is pending publication in The Haunted States of America, a middle grade ghost story anthology (SCBWI-Macmillan Publishers, 2024). She teaches adults and teens for Hugo House, Hudson Valley Writers Center, Literary Cleveland, Kids Short Story Connection, SCBWI, and other organizations. Tina earned her MFA from Manhattanville College, where she was editor-in-chief of Inkwell.
